How many people in a team?
We have both 6-a-side and 4-a-side leagues. The 6-a-side is better suited to beginner teams whilst the more demanding 4-a-side is recommended to teams with at least one season’s experience. If you cannot find six people to start your team, you can contact us and we will team you up with others in the same predicament as you are.
How much does it cost?
6-a-side = 1 x Registration Fee R240.00
9 x Matches R240.00 (each)

Should teams pay for their full seasons fees up front, we give a R400.00 discount. This is based on how many matches are in the season.
Medal matches are excluded from the above rates as not every team shall make it this far in the league. These matches charged at the same rates as above per match.

How long is a league?
Each league is approximately 12 weeks long. 11 weeks for the round robin matches with another week for the semi finals and finals.
Can women play?
Most certainly. Beach volleyball is a sport that caters for young and old, black and white, male and female, all having fun together. Beach volleyball is not considered as contact sport and thus appeals to the female market. We will also be running mixed and women only leagues.
We have six people, now how do we join the league?
You will have to complete a team application form, deposit the registration fee into our bank and fax the deposit slip to our office. Click here for the Team application form
What equipment do I need to play?
All you need is a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. However, men may play topless if they chose and women may play in a bikini. Teams dressed the same will receive extra points. Should your team need team uniforms, please click here to see our store.
How do you grade the teams?
Before the leagues start, we arrange matches with other teams already graded to establish whether your team is stronger or weaker. We can then place your team into a league with teams with a similar strength.
Some people say that volleyball hurts your arms. Is this true?
A volleyball will only hurt your arms when the ball is made from plastic or is pumped too hard. We use a soft leather ball for all our matches. This shouldn't hurt at all.
What other facilities do you have?
We have a fully licensed bar with a kitchen serving light meals. There are full change room facilities with showers for both men and women. We also have a conference room with a large screen for corporate training and team building days.
What activities do you offer?
We offer beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach touch rugby, beach tug-of-war, flag races, billiards, darts etc. We can structure each day around your needs. We are also not afraid to do something new and will include most things at your suggestion.
Do you cater for children’s birthday parties?
Yes. You can sit back and relax while we keep the kids busy with our various beach sports, jumping castle, water slides and other activities. We can provide the party packs, snacks, meals and everything to make your kid’s day the talk of the school. Your day will also be pleasant because we do all the cleaning up after the party.
